Respiratory Protection


Throughout the United States, millions of workers and employees, in various industries are required to wear respirators or respiratory protection of some kind. These types of respiratory protection devices protect workers against a variety of dangerous situations including:

  • insufficient oxygen environments,
  • harmful dusts,
  • fogs,
  • smokes,
  • mists,
  • gases,
  • vapors,
  • and sprays.

These respiratory hazards can sometimes cause cancer, lung impairment, diseases, or death. Wearing the proper respiratory protection could avert hundreds of deaths and thousands of illnesses annually.
